Faith and grief do not have to compete.

A faith-centered place to bring the honest reality of grief, loss, and change and encounter the presence of Jesus within your story.

Grief asks us to carry a lot at once.

Sorrow and gratitude. Questions and faith. Remembering what was while learning to live in what is.

Grief isn't limited to the death of someone we love. It can come through relationships, changing roles, lost expectations, unexpected endings, and a life that looks different than the one we imagined.

Encountering Grief is a place to approach those experiences honestly and compassionately without rushing, minimizing, or spiritualizing away what hurts.

Because you don't have to wait until the hard part is over to encounter Jesus.

Hi, I'm Tabatha.

Grief has been one of the great shaping forces of my life.

I've experienced loss through death, relationships, unexpected endings, changing roles, and seasons when life looked very different from what I thought it would.

Through those experiences (and through my professional work supporting others), I have come to believe deeply that our grief and our faith do not have to compete.

Some of my deepest encounters with Jesus have happened not after the hard parts were over, but right in the midst of them.

That's the heart behind Encountering Grief.

You don't have to choose between grieving honestly and holding onto faith. There is space for questions, pain, remembering, and hope—even when you are still learning how to hold them together.

Jesus is not afraid of the honest parts of your story.

If you're looking for support as you navigate grief, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

There is space for sorrow and hope.
